This is slowly becoming more of a song of the week thing, but i have been as busy as a bee so needs must.
So today i thought I would go for Telepathe. A good musical pair I would say. and also they are a band who care ALOT about how they look, maybe more than about the music (but dont tell anyone I told you). Oh well youve got to love the noise.

Alexander Wang

hey fellas sorry i havent posted in like forever, this weeks been pretty hectic :)

so ive been doing my work experience at miss selfridge for two whole weeks and now its time to return to la schoolamatorium. the following year is THE most important year ever, because i have to do joyous GCSEs. hooray.

ok so enough of all that rubbish, lets talk about fashion.

i have just seen pictures from Alexander Wangs S/S 10 show. I love Alexander, he is my ultimate favourite designer with such a distinctive look. So imagine my surprise when I saw this...

Oh my giddy days, i just thought that this was so un-wang. I cant imagine a Wang girl wearing any of these clothes. But thankfully as the show continues, the classic Wang M.O.D (model off duty) look begin to show through. HOORAY!! Back to the best...

Those studded boots are so fierce. And out comes the black and the body-con and all the leather. Maybe its a good thing that hes showed plenty of variety in the collection, but this girl aint buying it. Back to black and back to the good stuff Alex!

COCO SUMNER!!!

ok so here we go another post about someone called coco!

but this time its coco sumner stings unbelievably cool daughter and wicked cool musician, model and sociolite. some people have it all 'ey?!

if you havent heard of her yet...well where have you been all this time!

with a LOVE magazine cover and spread (photos=gorgeous), her band I blame Coco (she sounds like her dad so much its strange), and a burberry ad campaign under her belt shes climbing the fame ladder rung by rung. although to be honest she started as close to the top as you can when youre a tiny baby.

I want her hair so badly, scruffy undercut similiar to a certain ms. Alice Dellal but shorter and much much better (i hope you agree). Shes my current style crush, along with Alice. Theyre pretty darn similiar, but Coco has these big brown eyes and gorgeous chisled cheekbones which you could just cut a large slab of cheddar on.

SONG OF THE DAY

ok so heres a thing I intend to have as often as i possibly can. It's called song of the day (original huh?) and it does what is says on the tin basically.
so today i thought i needed something that was quite easy going, that ends the summer nicely and makes everyone feel happy. it was a pretty hard decision but i chose this...getting fairly old now but I listened to it a billion times and it helped me through this summer.

Coco Before Chanel

Ok so hey fellows, last night i went and saw Coco Before Chanel at my local picture house. WOW is all I can say. What a tragic story she had! and Audrey Tautou is an absolutely amazing actress, she just fits the part so well. My favourite part is at the very end, when we see her lying on the famous Chanel staircase after she has presented her collection. The camera hovers for a while, concentrating on her face until she cracks a tiny smile. It's so beautiful.

I also love the way her clothes develop throughout the film, from her orphan clothes, to the ones she wears as a dancer and through to her famous LBD's and chic suits. I just adore this film, especially how its in French with English subtitles. It makes it so much more authentic.

Kane+Versace vs. Hanra RANT

OH MY GIDDY DAYS!!!

did anyone else buy this seasons POP magazine? alot about bloggers and stuff, i am so jealous of tavi, she so wicked cool plus she knows her stuff way better than most and shes only 13! i wish i was that good when i was 13. im not even that good now. anyhoo i just finished reading the interview with donatella versace and christopher kane by hannah hanra, and i realised something. every single thing christopher says makes either no sense, or is just completley what donatella said. he sounds like such a brown noser! jeez i love his work (the new metallic green brown velvet striped dress, bad on paper, sick in real life) But when he says (describing the new versus girl) "The DNA is like, young, effervescent, shes got alot of confidence, shes independant and obviously shes intellectual aswell, but shes sensual" I am just thinking BUZZWORDS and how he sounds like hes just read it all off a piece of paper. c'mon man you could do so much better. but bless donatella, remaining steadily aloof for a substaintial part of the interview, only saying things like "Just that you should have fun" whilst being backed up all the way with kane saying "have fun, yeah".

well done POP youve made my day. i freaking love it, but this interview is dissapointing. plus those pictures of Ciccionlina by famous porn photographer max angeloni made me feel a tad queasy, shes a mother for goodness sake.
