It's too hot

Hello! I'm so sorry for my bad bad posting skills, right now it's good old GCSE time so everything else in life has to take a back seat for a while. But today is a lovely day right? If you're in England that is, apparently it's hotter than Greece right now. I am frazzling to death.
Anyway, Meadham Kirchhoff for Topshop.
I like the colours of the whole collection (basically just black and nude) plus the dresses are super nice. The bottom one is my favourite, i like the mix of sequins and lace,it's pretty unusual and it works. Not cheap obviously but what can you do?

Topshop get some new ideas please

I shop in Topshop. A large percentage of my clothes come from there. I don't like shopping there but I still do. I am attempting to phase it out though, so hopefully before 2010 is out I will have maybe 2 or 3 items from there. Now that's all cleared up, lovely jubbly. Something fishy is going on here, sorry the pictures so bad i had to get a tiny one and then make it big so its a bit shitty. So basically the Alexander Wang piece has like opaque material on the arms and neck line. The Topshop one has it on the bottom, plus it has long sleeves and is basically the same shape and everything.
Also who can forget this one? This is far too similar to get away with it.I appreciate getting inspiration from designer pieces, but you have to draw the line at just knocking them off completely. Two years ago Chloe sued them for copying some yellow dungarees (which are ugly as sin in my opinion). They had to pay $12000 and destroy all of the other garments.
So Topshop please can you stop making copies of EVERYTHING, and also can you make everything a little less samey? when I went in last week everything was black or nude or stripey so please get your act together.

Jil Sander for Uniqlo

Hey guys! I haven't been posting so much right now, but I am trying to as much as I can ok?
So today I was browsing and I found some pictures of Jil Sanders new collection for Uniqlo. I think this is her second collab with the chain, and its pretty ace to be frank
I would wear the pink shirt under the mustard jacket. Also the colour of the padded jacket is like my favourite colour ever, it's kind of a shame that the jacket is the only piece with that colour. I'm pretty sure the navy jacket is a mens one, but it has a real interesting shape so it looks unisex.
It launched last Thursday, go forth and buy.

Todays post has up to 50% off...

Tomorrow I'm going sales shopping. I hope it's not too crazy.
And I love making lists, so i am going to make one of my top 3 internet sale items, all from net a porter.
I have wanted this T-Shirt for so long it's unbelievable, also it's my birthday soon (hint hint). Down from £79 to £39.50, Luella.Mmmm yes please. Lanvin, down from £625 to £437.50. It's still alot of money but I feel that it's justified. Look at them!

Down from £350 to £185, Mawi. It's velvet, it's blaady massive and it has alot of shiny gold and crystal stuff. What more do you need?

So there is my top 3, they are all pretty much multi-seasonal so even though theyre sale items they are still a worthy investment! honest!

Coat tales

Yesterday was coat day, the day in which to get a coat. and a mere 6 hours later one was got.I tried on like a billion coats overall and here is the creme de la creme...Ahhh tweedy twee loveliness. unfortunatly too thin, abit itchy, no hood, not waterproof. dang.Gorgeous shape and all, with a lovely ruffled neck line. Not waterproof or thick, plus as soon as I went back onto the street I saw another woman wearing it.This is my favourite one. I wish I had bought it, but unfortunately its so unpractical its unbelievable. School ruins everything for me.Trench, felt a bit cheap and nasty so it was a no. It looks quite nice but it was poor quality.

This is the one that I bought in the end. I'm regretting it big time now. Its really practical and everything, but i dont love it as much as the fur one.

Oh well, hopefully i can return it at the weekend and it will all be ok.

heres to hoping

The nights are drawing in...

Hello, in England it's raining buckets and buckets thus it is freezing cold to the max. I currently have this black coat (great description right) which has lasted two whole winters so it is now time to start a fresh. So browsing around has lead me to this A.P.C beauty... Cheaper than a proper Burberry one, but still £325.

The real mckoy, but for pitys sake its £1,495. Yeah I could buy it, but it would be bye bye university, bye bye future basically. For a coat? Nah mate. I tried on a rip off version in H&M but it was not to be.So I basically just need a cheap little coat, with a hood cause of the good old blighty weather. I found this cute fur padded parka from Topshop, it is currently the top of the list but I'm not too sure about the colour. £80, bargain.

Or this one from good ol' Urban Outfitters

£120, plus no hood. Damn I don't think i will ever find the ONE, to find my current one I tried on coats for 2 hours straight. Hopefully I will be going shopping on saturday, so i will update you then!

Vintage Jackets are so the new black.

So today in the lovely little town where I live, there was a vintage fair. Basically it's a much better version of a car boot sale, with everything from the past you would ever want to buy.
And boy if you look hard enough, you can find some real beauts. My friend Anna picked up this cute little jacket, in a soft grey fabric, thats just a perfect cut and fit for her frame.
Look at that detailing! It's just so well made and it has pleats which make the jacket kick out from the hips slighly. It reminded me of a Rick Owens jacket when I first saw it, but it's so much shorter and mellower than any of his designs, plus it has that shoulder detailing that he tends to stear clear of.
Also my other friend Ella got a blazer. A very good cut for her aswell, long and lean boyfriend-esque in dark blue velvet. Plus the velvet wasn't matted and very good quality.
Stella McCartney I feel (well she is the queen of feminine/masculine tailoring).
All I bought was some earrings which are leather antlers. The woman on the stall was nice, which is a bonus to the max.

So I'm off now, watching the X-Factor has become addictive!

I adore these guys so much. They get really cool artists all together and then make them design some ruddy cracking t-shirts. Heres a few more which I'm just loving.
