Thumbs up.

Hello. I posted yesterday, but frankly it was shit so i deleted it. So today I thought i would post again, about Pop. I am so in love with this magazine, its better than Lula for me because it's quite dark and more styled, and it has better layouts and more interesting pages than Love, Purple etc. AND it came with a sticker sheet this time. Actual stickers.Anyway, of course I have to post pictures of my favourite spread. Thats what I always do. So favourite this time, after much deliberation, is Rome, Savage with Eniko Mihalik and Tetyana Melnychuk...I LOVE POLONECKS. I bought one the other day and the first comment I received was 'Amy has come dressed at a vicar'. I took it as a compliment. Styling is always good, goes without saying to be honest. This spread is very luxurious, lots of fur, lace and elaborate jewels. It's pretty sweet, the whole magazine is. So go out and buy it. I should so work in advertising.

p.s RADICOOL WAS 1 YEAR OLD ON THE 5TH!can you believe it? I've managed to write about a load of rubbish for a year.

SO EN

Hello, i'm tired so this is going to be a reasonable sized post. with many pictures.
So my faith in the internet has been restored after I found out about this japanese magazine called so en.The styling is NICCCCE. It kind of reminds me of how nylon used to be before it went all teen vogue. I have just found this as everyone has pretty much got over the initial novelty and stuff. BUT i dont care, I looked on the proper website and its all in japanese which is nice and helpful, so i just clicked on stuff i didnt know until i found this picture...

I have to say that this outift is cooler than anything ive seen in a very long time.the japanese put the rest of the world in the shade when it comes to crazy styling.very very very good. very.

Let's get sprung

Hello everyone. I was reading I-D earlier (cause like i bought it ages ago but haven't got round to reading it yet) and there was a teeny tiny editorial with Abbey Lee in it...

Yeah she's not really wearing many clothes which defies the point of a fashion magazine about clothes, BUT she is painted gold. Snaps for I-D. The 'top' in the second picture is so nice, it has such an unusual shape and the print on it is mega ace. Boots in the last one are totally amazing, the heels are pretty damn fierce. I'm sorry i couldn't think of any other word.

A little Dazed and Confused

Hi everyone. It's going to have to be a quick one tonight, i have mock exams all week and need to cram my head off.
So sunday I went into town, and got Dazed and Confused. I told you I would report back on Abbey Lee, cause shes like on the cover and stuff. Anyway the pictures are so cute! When I first saw this one, I thought she looked like a little toddler in a strop. Plus, the feathery thing shes wearing is absolutely amazing, I love it soooo much. You can so tell from these pictures that its been inspired by Where the Wild things are. I actually NEED to see that film the second it comes out, it looks amazing. When I was little I remember reading it and being scared so I never really finished it. Also I dont see how they could make a whole film out of such a short book, but im sure that it will be the best film of the entire year. Even though there is only a few weeks left, details details.

The whole world is going Gaga

Hey there. Do you want to see some nice pictures inspired by hansel+gretel, shot by Annie Lebowitz and styled by Grace Coddington?COOL...i love these pictures, theyre magical and dreamy and amazing. BUT... Suddenly, out of some kind of hole, Lady Gaga is all up in the shoot. Why may I ask, is she even there?? These photos are good and blah but come on, she has no relevance. I hate her, shes arrogant and self absorbed and so irratating. But that aside, Andrew Garfield and Lily Cole are both actors, they play the part, they fit the bill, but Gaga just no, please god no.
Safe to say Gaga is taking over the entire world, with her 'oh im so crazy, people have always called be weird, because i dress so extremely and im so outspoken' persona. Also does any else know Roisin Murphy? Wasn't she wearing shoulder pads, sequins and stupidly short knicker shorts about 5 years before Gaga?
I have to go, otherwise I will actually never stop.

Be Bop A Lula

hey there. haven't posted in a bit and it is Halloween so might as well do something worthwhile eh? OK Halloween isn't an excuse to post, but i should really be doing something like coursework. pfft who needs that.
Yesters i went to Norwich shopping (again!) and i found that Borders contains THE best magazines ever. I spend far too much money on magazines as it is (I-D, Nylon, Dazed and Confused) and then comes the big bi-annual ones like POP, Wonderland, Love, Another. But these magazines you can get anywhere man. And others are way to hard to find like Purple Magazine, Russh, D magazine, Amelias Magazine (which unfortunately is no more), and the lovely Lula. I have been looking for Lula for bascially all my life, I even considered buying it for £20 offa t'internet but it was sold out. And then I went to Borders. And there was about a billion of them.
Ahhh it is so lovely. This issue was all about the red heads, and as per usual it was full of beautiful styling and pictures which look like they were taken many years ago on proper cameras which use film and dont come with cables or any of that.

This is my favourite page from the whole magazine (there is a heck load to choose from) because it is just so lovely! They have made Lindsey Wixon look so soft and delicate, with her pillow like lips and gorgeous hair! I so wish I could do side plaits, they seem to be everywhere right now. Plus I love the colours used in the shoot, the backgrounds match the colours of the clothes so nicely, and the whole thing made me smile :)

Oh it is so lovely, it's very airy and bright. Unlike most other magazines around (hello Dazed and Confused has some kind of erotic leather in it every month). OK not necessarily my style, but the pictures are amazing and the word layout is jumbled and good to read, coz its short and snappy.

Im gonna scat now, see you round

Kane+Versace vs. Hanra RANT

OH MY GIDDY DAYS!!!

did anyone else buy this seasons POP magazine? alot about bloggers and stuff, i am so jealous of tavi, she so wicked cool plus she knows her stuff way better than most and shes only 13! i wish i was that good when i was 13. im not even that good now. anyhoo i just finished reading the interview with donatella versace and christopher kane by hannah hanra, and i realised something. every single thing christopher says makes either no sense, or is just completley what donatella said. he sounds like such a brown noser! jeez i love his work (the new metallic green brown velvet striped dress, bad on paper, sick in real life) But when he says (describing the new versus girl) "The DNA is like, young, effervescent, shes got alot of confidence, shes independant and obviously shes intellectual aswell, but shes sensual" I am just thinking BUZZWORDS and how he sounds like hes just read it all off a piece of paper. c'mon man you could do so much better. but bless donatella, remaining steadily aloof for a substaintial part of the interview, only saying things like "Just that you should have fun" whilst being backed up all the way with kane saying "have fun, yeah".

well done POP youve made my day. i freaking love it, but this interview is dissapointing. plus those pictures of Ciccionlina by famous porn photographer max angeloni made me feel a tad queasy, shes a mother for goodness sake.

smell ya later.
