Pruning the Plum

Yes it is a bad pun (of sorts) but i challenge you to think of a better one. Yay it is oficially autumn, it gets pitch black at half 6, it rains alot and it is bloody freezing. This means its the perfect time for dark ol' clothes and of course dark lipstick! I got a plum one, it is so dark and it makes me look like i have been eating a lot of blackcurrents. Any tips for getting it to stick? i just drunk from a bottle and it basically all came off!
